Fishing in Rangely

You must have a valid Colorado fishing license to fish in Rangely.  Fishing license are available at many locations in Rangely.  The state offers a one-day and three-day license at a reasonable cost.

Should you hook one of Colorado's endangered native river fish, such as the Pike Minnow, you must return the fish to the river safely and immediately. To obtain additional information, to include photos, of the endangered fish, obtain a copy of the Colorado Division of Wildlife Fishing Brochure, which is available in many Rangely stores.  You can also view the brochure here.
