The Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium strives to make sure that every Colorado business has access to a skilled workforce and every Coloradan has access to meaningful employment, resulting in statewide economic vitality. Workforce Centers provide a variety of free services to assist employers and job seekers alike.
These include:
- Marketing employment opportunities through Connecting Colorado, the state's no-cost job database.
- Computer and internet access for job search and preparation.
- Career counseling and training opportunities for job seekers.
- Support for employers on talent attraction and retention, tax credits for hiring, writing skills-based job descriptions and consultations on all things workforce.
- Work-based learning opportunities for businesses and job seekers.
- Resume creation and interview preparation.
Customers can choose either self-service or staff-assisted options to meet their employment needs.

Colorado Workforce Centers partner with, but ARE NOT, the Division of Unemployment Insurance. For unemployment claims:
Once an unemployed person files for unemployment insurance, they are required to work with workforce centers to complete the job search activities required by the Division of Unemployment Insurance.
