Rangely Rock Crawling Park & OHV Trails

Rock Crawlers climbing at the Rock Crawling Park

Rangely Rock Crawling Park

Just a few miles southwest of the Town of Rangely lies Colorado's only designated natural rock crawling park—a thrilling destination for off-road adventurers.

Spanning more than 560 acres of rugged, natural terrain managed by the Bureau of Land Management, this expansive four-wheel-drive area offers one of the largest dedicated rock crawling spaces in the country. Managed in partnership with the Rangely Rock Crawling Club, the park features a well-designed OHV trail system that lets you explore diverse landscapes without repeating the same route twice.  Entrance is completely free, and many trails remain ripe for discovery. Challenge yourself on iconic routes like Megasaurus, Chain Break, Poison Ivy, and Willy’s Way. The park centers around one main trail, divided into four distinct sections with difficulty levels ranging from easy to extreme—perfect for beginners and seasoned crawlers alike.

Annual events draw enthusiasts from near and far, adding excitement to this premier off-road playground.

Come experience the adventure—your next epic crawl awaits in Rangely!
