The Rangely 911 Dispatch and Communications Center operates 24/7 as the central hub for emergency response coordination in our community. Our dedicated team of six civilian employees dispatches and communicates for Police, Fire, Ambulance (EMS), and public announcements/community notifications.
When calling 911 in an emergency:
Our professional dispatchers are ready to help immediately. For the fastest, most effective response, please calmly provide:
- Your name, exact address or location of the incident, your contact phone number, type of emergency
- Key details, such as injuries/medical needs, presence of weapons, if the suspect is still on scene, nearest intersection, landmarks, or other helpful information
The more accurate and complete the information, the better we can direct help where it's needed most. Non-emergency calls should be directed to (970) 675-8466.
