Camping

Rangely is a fantastic place to camp, whether tent camping, self-contained camping or enjoying your RV.

Summer days in Rangely are filled with water sports of all kinds, rock-crawling or riding an ATV/OHV around hundreds of miles of BLM property, which surrounds Rangely, and enjoying stargazing in our dark skies at night.

There are several places around town to camp ranging from overnight to long term. We look forward to your visit to our community!

Self-contained Camping

You can find camping throughout Rangely and Rio Blanco County, off the beaten path if you look. You can find locations at Kenny Reservoir as well as other unmarked spots along the White River. As always, be reasonable, keep fires in a rock pit or grill and remember to always pack in pack out. This is a beautiful community and country we live in and we want to keep it that way.
