Officer Ranker was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and grew up in a proud military family, relocating frequently across multiple states due to her father’s distinguished U.S. Army service. The youngest of three children, she was raised in a close-knit household that instilled strong values of integrity, discipline, and service from an early age.
After her father’s retirement, Officer Ranker settled in Mesa County, Colorado, graduating from Fruita Monument High School in 2018. She went on to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Colorado Mesa University in 2021, followed by completion of the Law Enforcement Academy in La Junta, Colorado, where she obtained her Colorado P.O.S.T. certification in 2022.
Her father’s career as a Military Police Officer deeply inspired Officer Ranker’s passion for law enforcement and continues to shape her commitment to protecting communities with honor and compassion.
She began her law enforcement career as a Patrol Officer with the La Junta Police Department from 2022 to 2024. Seeking broader experience, she briefly served with Child Protective Services at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, gaining valuable insights into supporting children and families in crisis. Returning to Colorado with renewed focus, Officer Ranker joined the Rangely Police Department, where she is dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of the Rangely community.
