Dispatcher Bailey Alvarado relocated to Rangely from Maine in 2023 to be closer to family and quickly embraced the town's warm, close-knit community. She joined the Rangely Dispatch Center in 2024 (hired in September), where she serves as a dedicated 911 Dispatcher, delivering calm, compassionate support during critical incidents and making a real difference when it matters most.

Prior to her career in emergency communications, Bailey earned a certificate in Medical Billing and Coding from DeVry University. She holds key certifications, including:

• CPR/First Aid
• Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) training
• Certificate of Excellence in Dispatching from the National Emergency Number Association (NENA)

Committed to professional excellence, Bailey actively pursues ongoing training and development to stay current with the latest emergency response protocols and ensure the highest level of service for Rangely residents and responders.

In her personal time, Bailey treasures moments with her two-year-old daughter, enjoys crafting, playing video games, reading, and exploring the area's stunning hiking trails with her fiancé. She is deeply proud to call Rangely home and feels truly honored to serve and protect the welcoming community that has embraced her so warmly.
