Dispatcher Brittany Craig relocated to Rangely from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, in 2022. With 12-1/2 years of experience as a Surgical Dental Implant Specialist Assistant, she joined the Rangely Police Department in January 2026 as a dedicated 911 Dispatcher, bringing her calm professionalism and commitment to service to the Communications Center.

Brittany and her husband feel truly grateful to call Rangely home. Since arriving, they've forged close friendships, actively participated in local events, and fully embraced the area's outstanding outdoor lifestyle. As Brittany says, “We’ve made Rangely our home.”

In her free time, she enjoys fishing and camping at Kenney Reservoir, golfing at Cedar Ridge, hunting, snowboarding, and hiking with her two black Labs. Her background includes volunteering as a Search & Rescue team member and Swiftwater Rescue Scuba Diver. In 2025, she attended Colorado Northwestern Community College to earn her Private and Commercial Pilot certifications.

Looking ahead, Brittany is excited to pursue a career as a Chinook helicopter firefighter—a demanding role that blends technical skill, immense responsibility, and the opportunity to serve as a critical asset in high-stakes wildland fire suppression efforts.
