Dispatch Supervisor Brittany Mancini joined the Rangely Police Department in July 2024, where she serves as supervisor of the 911 Communications Center and Records Manager. With over 10 years of experience in public safety communications, she previously worked at New Hanover County 911 in Wilmington, North Carolina, and the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office. Her career roles have included Telecommunicator, Communications Training Officer, Assistant Supervisor, and Quality Assurance & Training Coordinator.

Brittany holds an Associate of Science degree from Cape Fear Community College. She is an APCO-certified instructor in Emergency Medical Dispatch and Fire Service Communications, as well as an APCO Certified Public Safety Telecommunicator, Communications Training Officer, Communications Center Supervisor, and Denise Amber Lee Foundation Quality Assurance Evaluator.

In May 2024, she became one of the first two dispatchers on Colorado's Western Slope to earn the NENA Excellence in Dispatching Certificate. The following month, she achieved the prestigious NENA Emergency Number Professional (ENP) designation through rigorous prerequisites and testing, underscoring her expertise in 911 program and systems management.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Rangely Police Department and the broader public safety community, Brittany was named Colorado’s 2025 Dispatch Supervisor of the Year by Colorado NENA/APCO.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys reading, crocheting, and exploring new places. She remains committed to ongoing professional development, staying current with industry standards and best practices to ensure the Rangely Communications Center delivers exceptional service to citizens and first responders alike.
