Kyle Wren has served as the CEO of Rangely District Hospital (RDH) since January 2020, bringing over a decade of dedicated leadership to the organization. He joined RDH in 2010 as Lab Director, advanced to Chief Operating Officer, and has been instrumental in advancing patient-centered care in our rural community.
A graduate of Weber State University, Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree in laboratory science (with a minor in Spanish) and a master’s degree in healthcare administration.
Originally from Idaho, Kyle moved to Rangely with his wife, J’lyn—a lifelong local—where they have raised their three children: Kevin, Miah, and Taya. The Wren family embraces the outdoor lifestyle that defines our area, enjoying OHV riding, hunting, fishing, and family board games.
Beyond his hospital role, Kyle is deeply invested in Rangely’s well-being. He serves as an EMT with the Rangely Ambulance Service and as a volunteer firefighter with the Rangely Fire Department—roles that reflect his hands-on commitment to public safety and service.
Kyle is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused healthcare to the rural community he calls home. He is honored to serve on the Rangely Town Council and remains dedicated to strengthening our town through collaboration, resilience, and a shared vision for the future.
