Laycie Coker serves as the Community Service Officer Supervisor for the Town of Rangely, Colorado, a role she embraced after spending 12 months in the area, forging a deep connection to the community before relocating.

A native of Mansfield, Texas, Laycie graduated high school in 2014. She pursued her lifelong passion for animals at Tarleton State University, where she studied animal science, and later earned her Veterinary Assistant Certification from Cedar Valley College.

With nearly seven years of hands-on experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Laycie advanced to Hospital Manager at an Animal Emergency Hospital, honing her skills in animal care and emergency response. Today, she remains deeply committed to animal welfare, volunteering weekly at the Rangely Animal Shelter to provide care and support adoptions.

Outside of work, Laycie enjoys board and card games, crocheting, reading, and archery—activities that reflect her creative and adventurous spirit.
