Dispatcher Zach Bean relocated to Rangely from Ohio in 2005 and has called this welcoming community home ever since. He joined the Rangely Dispatch Center in 2019, where he proudly serves as a dedicated 911 Dispatcher, helping coordinate critical emergency responses for police, fire, and ambulance services.
A graduate of Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Zach earned his Associate of Arts degree. Since joining the team, he has completed extensive professional training to deliver exceptional service, including:
- Advanced call-taking techniques
- Police Legal Science
- Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD)
- FEMA incident management courses
- NASFM pipeline incident response training
Zach deeply appreciates the supportive and encouraging spirit of Rangely's residents, which has made his role incredibly rewarding. As he shares, “Being able to help this wonderful community, which has always been very supportive and encouraging of me as an individual, has brought me great joy.”
In his free time, Zach enjoys connecting with friends and family through a variety of games—whether it's board games, video games, tabletop RPGs, or simply hanging out and chatting. His passion for gaming reflects his love for fun, collaborative experiences, much like the teamwork he values in dispatch.
