I was hired by the Town of Rangely on May 29, 1984. I have worked my way up the ladder starting as a laborer, maintenance worker 1,2 3, then being promoted to crew leader and I now serve as supervisor for the Public works and Building and Grounds departments. I have seen many changes throughout the years of employment.

My jobs as supervisor for both departments are overseeing waterline installation projects, street maintenance, curb, gutter, and sidewalk installation and repair, equipment and vehicle maintenance, street sweeping, weed cutting, lawn maintenance for our Public buildings, maintenance and repair at The White River Village, custodial work in our buildings, Downtown beautification, mosquito control and snow removal. Continued upgrading of equipment is a necessity. With upgraded equipment we can get our task's done in a timely manner.

Like our signs say on both ends of town that Rangely is a great place to live and I believe that. I like serving the Rangely community, and I take pride Rangely's appearance. I believe you need to do the task's right the first time, because it does not bode well if you have to do it again. Having employees that work hard and do the task's right is essential. I am very confident with our current staff. Seasonal help plays a big part in our summer jobs, with weed control and various projects.
